Popular Tampa Bay pitcher James āBig-Gameā Shields, who won big this past Sunday in Baltimore, will embrace Raysā fans this Saturday (April 18) in a unique āmeet-and-greetā event at Goldās Gym, located at 4949 34th Street South.
Shields will be available from 10 a.m. to noon, and fans are advised to bring memorabilia for him to sign.

Shields was drafted in the 2000 amateur draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. He didnāt make his Major League debut until May 31, 2006, but quickly emerged as a legitimate top-of-the-rotation starter to complement Scott Kazmir. Since then, he has rocketed to fame, and is the first and only Tampa Bay pitcher to win a World Series game.
