Ken Six has been involved in Tree Care or Arboriculture (The science and art of caring for trees, shrubs and other woody plants in landscape settings) and has been a Green Industry professional for 30 years, in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and California. He has developed and run successful companies involved in all phases of arboriculture in the Urban Environment, including Tree Pruning, Tree Removal, Tree Planting, Plant Health Care, Fertilization, Compost Tea, Soil Testing, Laboratory Analysis, Insect and Disease Control, Consulting, Tree Inventory, Expert Witness, Tree Selection, Hazard Tree Assessment, Forensics, Tree Appraisal, and Tree Preservation (Tree Protection at Construction Sites)

Ken is a long standing Member of The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), The American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA), and Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).

Ken has taken care of Trees at some of the Smallest Estates in the world to some of the Largest and most Famous Estates in the world. You have probably seen some of his trees in Movies, TV Shows and People Magazine without even knowing it. It’s not a real estate without trees.

Ken started TreeTV in 2003 as more of a “need” to promote proper tree care and educate the public. To quote Ken Six: “What if you were a Doctor and you were transported back in time and people were going to their local Physician to get a bleeding or little hemlock juice, you would probably say, Hey! You don’t need to do it that way anymore! We have Evolved!” Well Arboriculture has evolved treemendously in the last thirty years, You don’t need to burn out webworm in pecan trees, you don’t need to beat your fruit tree with a bat to have fruit, and in most cases if you build a house, driveway or sidewalk right next to a tree without proper tree preservation from a Consulting Arborist the tree will be a candidate for replacement, that is if it doesn’t fall first.”

Peter Felix whom is a Certified Arborist and President of Tree Health Management Inc., has over 20 years experience in arboriculture. Peter Felix is an ISA Certified Arborist and an innovator in plant health care for urban trees. His company, Tree Health Management, is a pioneer in the use of air-tools, compost teas, growth regulators and other treatments to recreate soil environments for optimum tree health and longevity. Peter attended the State University of New York Agricultural College at Delhi and has a Bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Peter is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, The Tree Care Industry Association, New York State Aborist Association, and the Long Island Arboricultural Association.
