Easy Growing - Organic Gardening with Don Rosenberg

After opening fifteen stores and spending 27 years in the retail music industry, Don Rosenberg was ready for a change. He had given countless speeches on entrepreneurship and marketing and finally decided to take his own advice. He started a new business based on something he enjoys and where he has special expertise – organic gardening. Don had been growing vegetables in his back yard for over twenty years and he realized that people are looking for help for their own family gardens.

So in November of 2006 he started Instant Organic Garden and has turned it into a business that makes it easy for anyone to have a garden, even beginners. It's especially appropriate for today's busy lifestyle. He meets with the family, helps determine the best site for a garden and comes up with a four season garden plan. The beds are installed complete with weedless, organic soil and organic fertilizers and all that remains is planting seeds and watering. Rosenberg includes 12 months of online, email and phone support.

Rosenberg received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Virginia and is a North Carolina Master Gardener. He now writes a regular column for the Charlotte Weekly, called "Easy Growing." He lives in Charlotte, NC with his two teenage sons and enjoys pickleball, fishing, canoeing, camping, hiking and tennis. He still talks to groups on entrepreneurship and business planning as well gardening.
