colorful displays of roses, wildflowers, topiary displays of your
favorite Disney characters and world-class horticultural displays at
the 2009 Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival,
one of the most popular annual events at Disney World. The floral
festival – which includes a live Flower Power Concert Series, gardening seminars, workshops, demonstrations and children’s activities – is included with regular admission to Epcot.
The 16th-annual Epcot®International Flower & Garden Festival, which will take place from
March 18 through May 31, 2009, will boast an elaborate
"Cinderellabration" topiary featuring four Disney princesses
(Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Belle) dressed in
"blooming" finery. Other festival highlights will include Disney
Gardening at Home presentations, The Great American Gardeners series,
Garden Town festival center and the family-oriented Growing Future
Gardeners, as well as children's activities and Disney character meet
and greets. The Flower Power Concert Series will be held every Friday,
Saturday and Sunday at 5:15 PM, 6:30 PM and 7:45 PM at the America
Gardens Theatre. The concert lineup will include Paul Revere & The
Raiders, Jose Feliciano and Davy Jones, among others.
