I am so excited to be going to New York City this week to cover the STIHL Tour des Trees. This event is a cross-country cycling tour now in its 17th year, the Tour des Trees has become the signature fundraising event of the TREE Fund, and America’s largest fundraising event for tree research.

The 2009 STIHL Tour des Trees kicks off in New York, N.Y. on July 19 and winds through the Northeast before ending in Providence, R.I., during the International Society of Arboriculture’s (ISA) International Tree Climbing Championship on July 25.

These riders are so dedicated to this cause and I can’t wait to capture all of their stories. Keep your eyes out on LGWV for all the coverage.
